Superbowl Party!!!

Thursday night, Austin got a little snow (and a lot of ice).  So, of course, the city shut down and neither of us had to work.  By noon, the sun was out and it was warming up quickly.  Ben is such a snow lover, we hurried to the park down the street and let the dogs enjoy the snow while it was there.  Ben immediately started rolling and doing Ben angels.  When Ben lived in Montana, Michelle would take him for hikes.  He would flop down next to the trail ahead of her and roll.  After she passed him, he would get up, trot up past her and 50 yards down the trail flop down again and start rolling.  She would pass and he'd get up and leap frog again. On the way back, you'd see these bare spots along the trail... little Ben snow angels.  Here's a video of the dogs enjoying the snow.  The next two days were gorgeous.

Go Pack Go!!!

We had a couple friends over for the Superbowl.  We wanted to have a big party, but we realized quickly that our house can't hold that many people so we had to keep it small (unfortunately).  The night before we had Michelle's friend and his girlfriend over for a campfire... our first of the season.  The weekend was beautiful and we spent so much of it outside in our back yard.  It was so nice to enjoy our yard again.  We cleaned it up and got it ready. We were very pleased that the Packers won.  What a great game!!!!  Below are some pics of folks enjoying the party.

Chris makes some yummy hamburgers
Kiso basks in the warm sun after some cold days.

These are the days I love my yard.

Ben stayed very close to Chris while he made hamburgers.

Chris and Doug catch up after many years.

Cutie patootie Lela and Uncle Brett.... go Pack!!!

Doug enjoys the sun, Finkle begs to play frisbee

Rena and Lela enjoy the beautiful day.

Again, Ben stays near the hamburger.

We were all disappointed by the half-time show,
so we asked Evan to play us a number.

He was loving it!!!!

Uncle Brett shows him how it's done.

"We're Evan's biggest fans!!!!!"

Chillin' during halftime.
